Our updates are quite large, hitting over 3GB in size. Due to how source downloads files, this can take a long time if you haven't played with us before.
We highly recommend to download the game assets by using the button below. Then extract the contents to your tf2classic/custom folder.
Your custom folder should then have a new folder inside called assets_server, with all the required files then inside!
Vastly speeding up your connection time as you'll have all the files on your client already (unless we sneaked in some more after this release).

We will not be humouring giving scout any more mid-range options moving on forward. Hunter's Blunder: - Removed Wonder's Note: After careful consideration and plenty of deep thinking, I decided it's time to get rid of this weapon. It's a crutch weapon and will more often than not feel cheap instead of feeling fun to fight against and rewarding to use. Downtown Defiler: - Added a new appearance and animations Wonder's Note: Raptor Dan decided this thing needed a new coat of paint and we're very happy with how this turned out. Good job, lad. Soldier: Falconer's Rifle: - Removed Wonder's Note: After careful consideration and team discussions, we've decided that this just isn't going to work for Soldier at all. Ten-Gauge Terror: - Reworked into a Primary weapon Wonder's Note: I got fed up of this thing being stuck in secondary hell so it's time to go back to it's roots and turn it into a proper kick-ass shotgun again! now you can run around and become the ultimate infantry-killing machine like that one guy in.. uh.. any generic FPS video game? sure let's go with that. Demoman: Cyclops: - Removed Wonder's Note: We've had to remove this and I'm afraid I'm not actually permitted to tell you why, but all I know is that you'll have to trust us on this one. Battle Axe: - Removed Wonder's Note: Removed this due to the model maker being a concept art thief so uh yea get outta here lol. Plus this weapon has been painfully mediocre for a long while and I can't really fix this tbh. Ultimatum: - Completely reworked the weapon, now it's a grenade launcher that can hit directly after bouncing off surfaces Vror's Note: The main issue with this weapon is that it relies on applying a very bad debuff to have just for doing demo things. This rework allows demo to gain something more unique. Gaelic Gibber: - Added a new appearance and animations Wonder's Note: Simple change here to something that Vror intended for the rework of this weapon during the pre-v6.9 update... Hopefully it won't be too bulky for most people but we'll see.. Blast Resort: - Now kills you on use (even though an ubercharge) Wonder's Note: Man I'm tired of this weapon causing so many issues.. so now as a last straw it just fucking kills you on use. If this breaks anything else I will remove it I swear to god.. Pyro: Thermal Thruster: - Removed Wonder's Note: Twin Barrel obsoleted it, simple as. Heavy: 7.62mm Machine Gun: - Removed Wonder's Note: Became pretty evident that this is massively underperforming and it's now obsolete... so it's for it to go.. So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, adieu.. thank you for your 2 years of service. Tactigatling: - Removed Wonder's Note: After internal discussions, we came to the conclusion and agreement this thing is no longer required to exist. So with that said, this will be the last time this thing gets removed.. may we never see you again. Iron Curtain: - Removed Wonder's Note: Evaluating this thing closer and seeing the overall state of Heavy's arsenal has led me to take action against this weapon. The result is it's removal, to the despair and gratitude of many I would imagine. Heater's Spark Eater: - Removed Wonder's Note: Is anyone surprised with this? like really this thing was a disaster waiting to happen and it happened and lasted for over 4 months... and now it's gone forever, you're welcome :) Killing Gloves of Boxing: - Removed Wonder's Note: After some discussion about the KGB has met us with the conclusion of removing it altogether due to the Chekhov's revert. And thus off it goes! silly red gloves have been replaced with the chains, destroyer of KOCW. Arisaka Assault: - Reworked Wonder's Note: Decided to go back and revert this to it's older state but also buff it in several ways to keep it competitive with the Chaingun... so hopefully now this thing will be actually usable again (if not a bit boring..) Chain Grinder: - Increased time it requires to brace the weapon for firing by ~150% - Halved spread - Reduced move speed while braced/firing by ~20% - Added damage increases over range but falls off at long range Wonder's Note: Some simple changes that will see the Chain Grinder get the fuck out of the Arisaka and Chaingun's territory as an offensive-oriented weapon and see it become a more competent mid-ranger in competition with the Fuming Snake (a new primary). Very curious as to how this turns out... Oppressive Force: - Reworked damage profile - Added 40% slower spin-up time - Added 40% slower move speed while spun-up - Added -50 max health on wearer - Added 50% crit vulnerability on wearer Wonder's Note: Also some simple changes to see this weapon really fulfill it's intended role as a longer-range powerhouse of a weapon, dealing serious damage out to ranges that even Snipers have to fear and respect. This could potentially become one of the strongest weapons on the server so I'll be keeping my eyes on it.. Engineer: Nail Storm: - Removed Wonder's Note: This thing is hot garbage on so many fronts that I have deemed it totally unsalvagable and thus it's going into the trash where it belongs. Texas Two Step: - Renamed to the Westerner's Wild-Card - Added a new appearance and animations Wonder's Note: A simple name-change to go with the new drip this thing got. This is a much-needed upgrade and I'm glad it happened because now this thing has attitute and the style to back it up. Firearm: - Halved spread - Reduced move speed penalty while active to 10% (from 15%) Wonder's Note: Noticed this thing was a bit lackluster so these two simple fixes should make it more worthwhile using... Augmentation: Spotter: - Replaced tranq with slow on hit Wonder's Note: Yea I shouldn't have done this aha... Well now it's back to being slow again so it won't be as awful to fight against (sorry Panacek no more engi gardening for you) Medic: Forensic Fugitives: - Removed Wonder's Note: Alright enough of this mobility crap, I'm tired to capitulating to a tiny minority already. These things weren't a good idea in the first place and they're not what medic wants nor needs.. so begone, boots! Super Syringe Gun: - Fixed an issue of where they had no reload animation (Super Syringe Gun) Wonder's Note: Whoops. Hydro Pump: - Reworked Wonder's Note: The team agreed that the Hydro Pump simply wasn't up to par for what the medi-gun role demanded from it and so Noclue has gone back and given it a make-over to make it far better... or so I hope. Medical Administration: - Reworked damage model so it deals 45 up close and a minimum damage of 20 (instead of doing 30 flat damage) - Increased reload speed by 20% - Increased fire rate by 10% - Added 5 health on hit - Added 25% faster weapon switch speed - Reduced uber gain on hit to 2% (from 3%) Wonder's Note: So after some evaluating.. the Battle Medic weapons weren't doing their job.. so let's fix this. The improved fire rate, healing power and reload time means that your overall HPS is now higher than most medi-guns and the new damage model means that this weapon becomes quite capable of killing in closer ranges. Surgical Precision: - Increased reload speed by ~30% - Reduced uber gain on hit to 8% (from 10%) - Added 25 health on hit Wonder's Note: This thing was doing pretty alright by itself so no major buffs here outside of some healing on hit and faster overall firing uptime.. now this should be a pretty solid weapon and support device. Spritzenwerfer: - Increased damage by 20% - Increased fire rate by ~20% - Decreased reload speed by 20% - Increased magazine capacity by... 1,000% - Doubled spread - Replaced 15% move speed penalty on wearer with 10% move speed penalty on wearer and 20% move speed penalty while active - Added 15% slower weapon switch speed Wonder's Note: Holy JESUS was this thing deserving of some kind of buff-spree and so... you got a soft rework instead. Now this weapon is the KING of suppressive and sustained fire in regards of healing and damage output. However as trade-offs, the weapon cripples your mobility and requires good positioning and engagement knowledge to utilise to it's absolute fullest potential. Sniper: General tweaks: - Weapons that had sniper at his default hp (125) no longer have a fake -25 hp downside - Weapons that gave snipe 150 hp now have a +25 hp stat listed - Fixed an issue of where a few primaries could deal higher crit bodyshot damage than headshot damage Wonder's Note: This is because the Executive's Dealbreaker is the stock sniper primary moving on forward, thus the health attributes had to be flipped... simple as Advanced Archery: - Removed Wonder's Note: This thing has been replaced by the new sniper primary that does this thing's job but much better on so many fronts.. So while this was a good weapon.. something better has come to replace it. Big Buddy: - Removed Wonder's Note: While this was a pretty decent idea, I feel like this could be done in a much better way later down the line. I may or may not have an evolved version of this planned for the next update.. Viewfinder: - Removed Wonder's Note: BS incarnate, this thing was a complete mistake from the get-go and I'm ashamed it's taken this long for it to get the boot. Nothing else to say here apart from I'm sorry that is has taken this long for us to remove this weapon... Madman's Mauser: - Removed Wonder's Note: Arguably the lowest quality weapon Sniper had and it was just flat out horrible.. and since Sniper has way too many secondaries right now, it's time to throw this thing out as well. Arbalest's Bolter: - Reworked into a primary weapon Wonder's Note: This weapon has been a sad, sad display for so long.. BUT NOT ANYMORE! Now with my sponsor mans- whoops wrong channel- Anyway this thing now has the unique ability to pierce through multiple enemies with arrows.. beware of corners~ Hunter Killer: - Removed headshots - Removed damage increase over range - Halved spread - Increased fire rate by ~25% Wonder's Note: Alright fuck this thing, too inconsistent and was a complete wash to fight.. so now it's far more consistent and.. spammy? weird stuff.. Carbine: - Reduced damage to buildings by 50% Wonder's Note: This is not what this thing was meant to do and holy crap it was way too good for breaking buildings.. So now it will be way less effective at doing so. Freehand's Misbrand: - Renamed to Great Divider - Reworked Wonder's Note: Decided to go back and give this thing a glance-over since it was very lazily put together and it showed. So now it has a newer, far better model and some actual audio that fits it better! the overall gun has been streamlined and smoothed gameplay-wise as well, resulting in a proper quality burst-fire SMG. Spy: Assassinator: - Removed Wonder's Note: Failed concept with a weapon already in this slot that does this thing's job better and in a more fair fashion. I give up on this, begone. Ballistic Knife: - Removed Wonder's Note: Another failed concept with a weapon in the primary slot that does this thing's job better and in a more fair fashion. Sorry Colrot, but this weapon was scrapped from TF2C for a reason... Whine Opener: - Removed Wonder's Note: The Kunai is a horribly designed weapon and this wannabe isn't doing any better.. it's doing way worse even. Sorry but this one's going straight into the sewer where it belongs. Markov's Mark: - Removed Wonder's Note: It's a pretty cool looking thing but I'll be honest I'm completely out of any ideas on how to make this thing not complete and total aids to fight and thus I'm just gonna remove it.. Peebee and Jay: - Re-named to the Informant's Infiltrator - Completely reworked from the ground up Wonder's Note: Oh hey is THAT an AGENT GUNN weapon!?! that's cool innit, very sneaky and sleek~ Pretty straight forward rework, works great for all types of spy playstyles Royal Flush: - Increased fire rate in the burst by ~20% - Reduced delay between bursts by ~25% - Increased card capacity to 15 cards (from 12) - Reduced reload speed by ~20% Wonder's Note: These weren't getting used all that much so here's some slight buffs to hopefully get it into some kind of limelight.. Start throwing those cards, you magical bastards! Proof of Authority: - Removed non-functional cloak regen rate penalty Wonder's Note: It took me almost 3 years to discover this is wasn't working... Oh dear. Saboteur's Sabre: - Reduced cloak restore on kill to 20% (from 100%) Wonder's Note: Not a wise idea looking back at it... so this should keep it in a decent spot. Civilian: Postal Papers: - Disabled (for rework) Wonder's Note: Mark for Death on this thing is not surviving either and thus this weapon has been disabled until we come up with a better idea for it.
